The Tbilisi branch presidencies and missionaries enjoyed meeting with Elder Garrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, accompanied by his wife Susan, during a brief unscheduled visit to the area. Elder Gong and his wife were accompanied by former Armenia Georgia Mission President Paul Picard, now in the Europe South Area Presidency. The Gongs and President Picard visited Georgia and Armenia following their attendance at a conference in Istanbul, Türkiye.
