Patriarchal Blessings: A patriarchal blessing contains the Lord’s counsel for the person receiving the blessing and declares the person’s House of Israel lineage. Every worthy, baptized church member is entitled to receive a patriarchal blessing. Members of the church are encouraged to prepare spiritually to obtain their blessing. After receiving a blessing, members should treasure its words, ponder them, and live to be worthy to receive the blessings promised. Requests for a patriarchal blessing are given to your Branch President.
