This years Armenia Youth Camp was held between Dilijan and Vanadzor, at a campsite during the last week of August. Over 5 youth attended, gathering from Ajapnyak, Alaverdi, Arabkir, Artashat, Charentsavan, Gyumri, Kentron, and Vanadzor. Eight of our young single adults (Ani, Vahag, Angelina, Karlen, Evelyn, Sargis, Erik and Marlies) assisted with organization, leading different groups and running some of the workshops. We send a huge thank you to our senior missionary couples who provided wonderful love and support. Some of the fun activities included dancing, music, sports, kite- flying, hiking, campfire and s’mores, with surprise Zoom calls from our Armenian missionary sisters in the field: Emilia Poghosyan and Irina Tadevosyan. Special speakers strengthened testimonies and motivated desire for spiritual growth. The spirit during the testimony meeting inspired many to stand and share, with several of those testimonies coming from the near dozen non-members that we had in attendance! Friendships were created and cemented, and not even the bus breaking down on the way back to Yerevan could depress their spirits. We already are anxiously anticipating our youth camp or conference next year. Hurrah for Israel!
