The Young Single Adults as well as the Young Men and Young Women of the Church participated in conferences and camps in Russia and here at home. Summer was a whirlwind of activity. All who participated learned how easy it is to have fun and build spiritual strength at the same time. One participant stated, “It feels like you’re in a family in these conferences, a spiritual family.” Members and nonmembers of the Church took part in the conference. They came for fun and desire to learn more about the Gospel and find answers to their questions. It was a miracle to listen to their testimonies about the Church, the Gospel, and what they felt. “Incredible spiritual teachings allowed for a clearer understanding of the purpose of our lives, receiving personal revelation, answers to our questions, and getting rid of fears and doubts. The entertainment was every bit as impactful as the spiritual discussion. Everyone felt unity with other participants. this unity helped overcome fear or embarrassment before taking the first step toward making new friends”. This was a wonderful event for everyone as the Holy Ghost testified of the truth of the Gospel.
